The First Day of School

The boys were so excited to go back to school. I always get a kick the night before, because they have such a hard time going to sleep.

To them school is just one big play day with their friends. I hope they keep up their ethusiasm throughout the year.

They attend Glen Lake Elementary in Minnetonka, Minnesota. The school goes from 1st -6th. James is in the 6th grade and his teacher is Mrs. Miller, the nicest teacher in 6th grade. Ammon is in the 4th grade and has Mr. Spreitzer, which was his 2nd choice for teacher and he is known as a very fun teacher. Jack is in the 2nd grade and has Mrs. Miller who is so nice as well and she grew up in Louisville Ky and went to Westport Highschool (small world). We were so grateful our house did not sell, so the boys were able to attend the same school they did last year and be with all their friends they have made through school, baseball and football.

Haylie, Tyson, and I had a great day as well. I have been waiting for a calm day ever since Tyson was born in June, and today I finally got it. It feels good to start getting Haylie and Tyson and myself on a schedule and to once again try to get my household in order.
They have grown so much over the summer, and not just in height. I love those moments when you look at your children and you feel so pleased that they are yours and marvel at their beautiful spirits. I am so grateful I have children who desire to do what is right, who are kind, who are good examples to their friends, who are happy, and who help me become a better person.

Madison, like all kids, has the same issue with the night before school. Your boys look so good. I miss you and love the pictures on my family of Tyson. I had my first day of playgroup or preschool at my house today. Yes, I started one. It was fun and now I am tired. It is good for Zane. Love ya, Judy

Jennifer, what year did Jack's teacher graduate from Westport? I graduated in 1968. Anyway, that would be fun if we were in the same class--Let me know! The boys look great! I am so glad they enjoy school. Please give them all a big hug forr me! Love you all, Mom XOXOXO
